The Eighth Doctor Adventures: Dark Eyes 2 Review

Series two of Dark Eyes has a bit of a slow start but eventually it picks up again once pieces are in place for the over arching narrative to kick off.

It’s easy to feel a little bit cheated by the opening episode’s inclusion of yet more Daleks after their use in the previous series but things do move ahead soon enough.

Molly returns from last series and brings her Irish whit to challenge the Doctor’s logic from time to time as they swoop about in their “Tardy Box” once again.

Big Finish’s Master returns once more with even more chemistry than before and with a plot to challenge all those the Eighth Doctor has faced thus far.

It’s a fun time if a little middle of the road considering the two following series but it does it’s job well enough even if it’s not as good as previous stories overall.
